Daniel Parker, is a co-founder and a counsellor/facilitator for Warriors Against Violence Society. He is from the Burrard / Squamish nations in British Columbia, Canada, and has worked in the First Nations community for over fifteen years. He is also an instructor for the Facilitator training model for WAVS. Daniel is an active presenter at conferences focusing on issues of violence, and he also facilitates various workshops throughout British Columbia. In addition, Daniel has been a guest speaker at the World Indigenous Women & Wellness Conference in Vancouver and at the Police Conference in Ontario.

Hey Dad. Congradulations. You and Gail look great. Your vision really took off. I`m proud to brag about you both. But I`m sorry to say I`ve really screwed things up and I`d really would like to be part of this. I`m trying to come back to Vancouver, only if probation or the wife would let me go. Bad long story I`m ashamed of. But I hope you can help me live in the way I always dreamed of. Don`t worry about me being around the kids, I`m not asking to stay with you. I just really need your guidence and this program. Willing to do what it takes Dad. Just stuck. Then again dad, I don`t know if I screwed up our relationship either. I`m just really lost. My soul can`t take much more of this uncertain life. I want this for me and for all my relations. I don`t drink or do drugs any longer. They don`t appeal to me, just the opposite. I`m ready dad.
